A) Industrial Property Rights

· Patents of Invention, Utility Models, Industrial Designs and Drawings.

· Trademarks, such as distinctive marks of industrial, business, or services enterprises and companies.

· Names and commercial slogans of companies and commercial establishments that sell products or render services.

· Designations of Origin, such as the name of a geographical region of the country used to name a product from that particular geographical area, which qualities, and characteristics are exclusively owed to said geographical environment.

· Handling of Trade Secrets and/or Know How, advisory and planning services to protect them, as well as actions tending to preserve them.

· Restriction of unfair competition (piracy), through all pertinent legal actions either at national or international level to prevent, and restrict the use and exploitation of the above-mentioned protected rights by unauthorized third parties.

· Administrative legal actions with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, and answers thereto, filing of remedies, initiation of "amparo" proceedings [petition for constitutional relief] or Appeals for Review, either as Petitioners or Affected Third Parties, as well as any pertinent action to collect damages and lost profits.

· Technical advisory services in the preparation of Patents, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs by our group of Engineers and graphic designers.

· Preparation and recording of Franchise Agreements; Trademark and Industrial Property Rights License Agreements; Assignments of Rights; Technology Transfer Agreements.

· Litigation: Our firm has extensive experience in complex litigation in connection to Patents and Trademarks matters, both for national and foreign clients. Likewise, we have significant experience in litigation of Secrecy Agreements; Commercial Slogans; Trade Dress; Unfair Competition; Computer Law; Internet; Registration of Domain Names; Matters related to Piracy of Trademarks and Patents. Litigations related to Infringement of Patents; Nullities of Patents; Cancellations, and any forfeiture of registrations of Industrial and Intellectual Property rights. Administrative, civil and criminal litigations related to all acts considered as unfair competition.

b) Copyrights

In relation to rights granted by international laws and treaties to the creators of works, our firm assists them in relation to the study, processing, and national and international protection of the following concepts:

· Artistic Works: Dance, pantomime, choreography, pictorial works, drawings, engravings, sculptural and plastic arts, architectural and photographical works, musical plays, movies, and television.

· Reservation of Exclusive Rights: Names of musical groups, artistic names, titles of magazines, newspapers, and other publications, column titles, and the exclusive right on fictitious characters.

· Legal Actions tending to preserve these rights and to restrict activities intending to counterfeit, imitate, mutilate, or use the aforementioned concepts without the corresponding authorization.
